Job Title: Senior Culinary Operations Manager
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Culinary Operations Manager to lead our kitchen team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for planning menus, organizing kitchen operations, training and developing staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality food to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and implement menu development, taking into account customer preferences, seasonal ingredients, and nutritional considerations.
- Oversee kitchen operations, including cooking processes, inventory management, and supply chain logistics.
- Train and develop junior staff members, providing guidance on cooking techniques, menu knowledge, and customer service skills.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and standards.
- Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Participate in kitchen training programs, staying up-to-date with new recipes, cooking methods, and industry trends.
- Degree in Culinary Arts or related field, with at least 5 years of experience in a senior culinary role.
- Proven track record of leading high-performing kitchen teams, with excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with experience in maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Ability to work well under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a creative approach to menu development and kitchen operations.
