Valvoline has a rewarding opportunity as a Regional Manager of Training Solutions: Design & Delivery, APAC reporting directly to the Manager, Enterprise Learning Technology. This is a hybrid opportunity, 2 days remote per week.

The regional leader for the training solutions leads and is responsible for our regional implementation, localization, and delivery of our training curriculum. This team is a "Center of Excellence" in that it provides governance, best practices, and subject matter expertise on the deployment/usage of sales training to improve our go-to-market efficiency and experiential interaction with our customers. This role identifies and monitors sales training needs in APAC and designs, plans, and implements training programs, and procedures to fulfill those needs, which includes regional sales process training (e.g. Richardson), sales and marketing tools and systems, and product training and certification.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide oversight, direction, and overall support for the design and development of learning solutions within the region by: a. Create and manage the delivery of product training, classroom training, and sales training, ensuring a consistent, blended approach. b. Manage the creation, maintenance, tailoring, and translation of engaging and effective training content, considering various learning formats, methodologies, and audience needs (through internal development tools or external vendors). c. Continuously review and suggest enhancements or modifications to existing training programs to improve engagement, learning outcomes, retention and adapting to the changing needs of customers and the organization. Ensure all training materials and programs are current, accurate, and effective. e. Work closely with regional training managers across the enterprise to share content, strategies, and future initiatives. f. Manage the budget for learning and development initiatives, ensuring cost-effective solutions while demonstrating financial acumen in balancing budget constraints with effective learning outcomes.
  2. Manage regional vendor relationships and projects: a. Oversee regional vendor relationships, ensuring proper management of Master Service Agreements (MSA), Statements of Work (SOW), project timelines, and review/signoff processes. b. Maintain Learning Management Systems (LMS) to organize, store, and manage training materials efficiently. c. Stay updated on emerging technologies and integrate them into the learning environment to enhance training effectiveness. d. Develop and enforce governance policies, including processes and naming conventions for content storage, to ensure consistency and efficient use of the LMS by the broader training team.
  3. Connect with local commercial teams within each region to drive innovation and efficiency in their solutions, staying abreast of regional industry trends and emerging solutions & technologies to enhance their sales training capabilities. Collaborate with key stakeholders/leadership to align training needs with the adoption of training initiatives.
  4. Monitor and analyze product performance & adoption metrics, identifying areas for optimization, increased usage, and growth. Establish metrics to gauge the success of training programs (ROI); implement continuous improvement measures based on evaluation outcomes.
  5. Develop and maintain a regional catalog pipeline, budgets, and project management, communicating updates and progress to internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, prioritize, and implement training solutions that contribute to the organization's strategic goals
  6. Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization, including Personal Career Development, self-improvement and training.
  7. Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree would be a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in learning development
  • Up to 2 years of experience in leading teams and people preferred
  • Experience in delivering & design adult learning theory and principles in small and large groups.
  • Experience in project management and communications skills of effectively manage multiple projects with tight deadlines and driving alignment & execution across groups.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Working knowledge of SAP and Salesforce.com
