Job Title: Living Kidney Donor Transplant Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Living Kidney Donor Transplant Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire process of evaluation, preparation, and management of patients undergoing living donor kidney transplantation.

  • This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for working in the healthcare industry, who possess excellent communication skills, and can work effectively in a team environment.
  • The Living Kidney Donor Transplant Coordinator will be responsible for receiving referrals, conducting interim assessments, scheduling tests, and ensuring patient reviews at transplant evaluation clinics.
  • This role also involves monitoring patient condition and testing during the evaluation phase, maintaining accurate databases, and reporting on program data.
  • In addition, the coordinator will handle calls and concerns from patients, monitor patient progress, and prepare all necessary documents for approval by the transplant ethics committee.
  • Other duties may include coordinating peri-operative and preparatory phases, performing overnight calls for deceased donor transplant activation, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Nursing, Life Sciences, Psychology, or Social Work
  • Willingness to perform on-call duties on a rotational basis
  • Multi-language proficiency and healthcare service-related experience preferred
  • Fully vaccinated with Covid-19
