Credit Control Specialist Job Description

As a Credit Control Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments from customers. Your role will involve coordinating with internal and external debt collectors to resolve payment discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Follow up on aging debts via phone calls, emails or letters to ensure prompt payment from customers.
  • Collaborate with internal and external debt collectors to coordinate statements of outstanding payments and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Generate accurate AR Statements of accounts and prepare AR aging analysis reports to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Monitor credit limits for customers and promptly report delinquent accounts.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze financial data and identify trends.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • High level of organization and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
