Senior Chef Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Chef to join our culinary team at Raffles Hotel Singapore, where you will work closely with award-winning Chef Andre Chiang to create an unforgettable dining experience.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum professional certificate in a culinary-related field and at least 2 years of relevant experience in the Food and Beverage industry. You will be responsible for achieving and maintaining the highest standards of food preparation quality and guest satisfaction, while upholding high levels of hygiene and sanitation.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor food quality and consistency to ensure exceptional standards.
  • Supervise kitchen operations, including yield testing, product identification, and proper rotation and labeling.
  • Work closely with receiving and storeroom teams to ensure goods received meet hotel specifications.
  • Assess freshness, presentation, and temperature of food served.
  • Ensure food portioning, serving, requisitions, and receiving from stores are properly controlled in line with Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Enforce the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation in kitchens, including working areas and equipment.
  • Prevent using spoiled or contaminated products in any phase of food preparation.
  • Participate in training activities to improve knowledge and skills.
  • Maintain collaborative working relationships with colleagues, supervisors, and managers.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate must possess a minimum professional certificate in a culinary-related field and at least 2 years of relevant experience in the Food and Beverage industry.
