AI Innovation Engineer

We are seeking a skilled AI innovation engineer to design and develop cutting-edge AI/ML solutions for the maritime sector.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Translate complex business challenges into AI/ML solutions that drive real business value.
  • Develop end-to-end AI systems from data assessment to production deployment.
  • Build functional prototypes and proof-of-concepts with clean, scalable code.
  • Assess data readiness, recommend governance frameworks, and improve data quality.
  • Research latest AI trends and apply insights to drive innovation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to integrate prototypes into full-scale development.
  • Present AI strategies and ROI clearly to senior leaders and clients.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's/Ph.D. preferred).
  • 4 years of experience in AI/ML engineering or data science, preferably client-facing.
  • Strong expertise in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and core ML libraries.
  • Hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, and MLOps practices.
  • Proficiency in GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes concepts.
  • Knowledge of data governance, data quality frameworks, and distributed computing.
  • A track record of delivering AI solutions in production (publications or shipped products a plus).
  • Experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
