Maritime AI Strategist

We are seeking an expert to design and deliver cutting-edge AI/ML solutions for the maritime sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify business challenges and translate them into AI/ML solutions that drive efficiency and innovation.
  • Architect production-ready AI systems, from data assessment to deployment, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Build functional prototypes and Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) with scalable code, utilizing industry-leading technologies like TensorFlow and PyTorch.
  • Assess data readiness, recommend governance frameworks, and improve data quality to ensure accurate insights and informed decision-making.
  • Research latest AI trends and apply insights to stay ahead of the curve, driving continuous improvement and excellence in AI/ML capabilities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to integrate prototypes into full-scale development, ensuring successful implementation and adoption.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's/Ph.D. preferred).
  • 4+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering or data science, preferably client-facing, with a strong track record of delivering AI solutions in production.
  • Strong expertise in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and core ML libraries, with hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, and MLOps practices.
  • Proficiency in GCP concepts, including data governance, data quality frameworks, and distributed computing.
  • Knowledge of industry-leading tools and technologies, such as Kubernetes, Keras, and data quality management.
