Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive plans for membership growth and revenue enhancement aligned with our organizational vision.
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing team covering business development, marketing, events, and account management.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and evaluate new markets, trends, and strategic partnerships to expand our reach and influence.
  • Membership Acquisition & Retention: Develop and oversee strategies for recruitment and retention of members, focusing on high-value accounts.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster and nurture relationships with government agencies, trade associations, and industry partners to drive collaboration and mutual benefit.
  • Performance Management: Establish KPIs and implement metrics-driven frameworks to ensure effectiveness and accountability across the team.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to align efforts and drive holistic outcomes that benefit the organization.
  • External Representation: Represent us in tripartite workgroups and public platforms, articulating the views and needs of employers and stakeholders.
  • Talent Development: Attract, develop, and retain top talent, fostering a culture of learning and excellence within the team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field; a postgraduate qualification in a related field would be an advantage.
  • Over 15 years of proven leadership experience in business development, sales, and account acquisition.
  • Demonstrated success in driving growth and leading complex strategic initiatives.
  • Strong leadership with a track record of building high-performing teams.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills at the executive and institutional levels.
  • Experienced in networking with industry leaders and stakeholders.
