Academic Leadership Position

This leadership role is a great opportunity for experienced professionals who are passionate about higher education and have expertise in programme development, management and administration. As an Academic Manager, you will play a crucial part in shaping the academic strategy of our institute by implementing policies, processes, and plans that drive excellence.


  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and improve policies and processes to enhance student experience and academic outcomes
  • Implement plans that underpin the academic strategy of the institute, working closely with Associate Dean and other stakeholders
  • Support curriculum and course design and programme review in collaboration with faculty and external partners
  • Supervise the academic delivery of courses/programs, including learning management systems and examination procedures
  • Support the accreditation processes and ensure compliance with academic standards and regulatory requirements
  • Other academic-related tasks assigned by the Associate Dean

Teaching Duties

As an Academic Manager, you will also be responsible for conducting lessons, providing assignments and assessments, and supporting students' academic growth and well-being. You will work closely with adjunct lecturers and manage administrative tasks related to teaching, such as scheduling and material submissions.


Requirements

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications and skills:

  • Minimum degree or masters in relevant subject area
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in programme leadership, development, and administration within a higher education environment
  • 3-4 years of teaching experience, particularly in diverse business disciplines
  • Teaching qualification preferred, but not essential
  • Experience in curriculum planning and development is highly valued

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and demonstrate strong time management abilities. Proficiency in English and Chinese languages is desirable but not essential.
