Research Laboratory Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Research Laboratory Assistant to maintain our laboratory's daily operations and support our research team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is passionate about laboratory management, scientific experimentation, and teamwork.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  1. Maintaining and managing experimental setups, mechanical designs, electrical systems, fabrication work, and equipment operations.
  2. Managing laboratory administration, inventory, housekeeping, safety protocols, purchasing, and procurement processes.
  3. Ensuring the proper day-to-day running and operation of the laboratory, as well as a safe working environment.

Qualifications

  • Polytechnic Diploma in an engineering field or equivalent engineering qualification.
  • Basic computer skills, including email, Microsoft Office, and productivity apps.

Requirements

  • Engineering experience, preferably in aerodynamics or propulsion.
  • Knowledge of experimental setup, mechanical design, and electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with laboratory administration, inventory management, and safety protocols.
