Project Coordinator Job Description

This is a highly responsible position that requires strong analytical skills, good organization, and a sense of responsibility.

  • Review, coordinate, and generate architectural works including shop drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
  • Supervise and inspect architectural works carried out by subcontractors to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
  • Coordinate and liaise with consultants, contractors, and other trades to resolve design and technical issues.
  • Ensure compliance with architectural specifications, local building regulations, safety standards, and quality benchmarks.

We are looking for an experienced Project Coordinator who can:

  • Prepare and maintain project documentation including drawings, material submissions, reports, and site records.
  • Manage architectural works scheduling, material requisition, cost control, and project supervision.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Participating in project and site meetings providing updates on architectural progress and coordination matters.
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Building, or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in architectural coordination within A&A / New Build projects.
  • Strong knowledge of architectural detailing, materials, and construction methodologies.
  • Familiarity with local building regulations and industry standards.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other architectural design software.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with consultants, subcontractors, and clients.
  • A customer-oriented mindset with the ability to balance quality and efficiency.
