Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support to customers, resolving complex issues and ensuring timely resolution.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service and technical support via phone, email and in-person interactions
  • Responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving technical issues with software applications, hardware and network infrastructure
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Collaborate with development and engineering teams to resolve complex technical issues and improve overall system performance
Requirements:Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in application support or software engineering
  • Experience in providing L1 & L2 technical support in Banking (Trading Application/Product)
  • Strong experience with Unix/Linux commands and shell scripting
  • Experience working with relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database & PL/SQL)
  • Good understanding of Java, Spring, REST APIs, and SQL
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven) and deployment practices
  • Experience working with Control-M tool
  • An understanding of the ITIL framework and processes for Incident, Problem, Change management
