Senior Java Developer, Consumer Banking Group Technology

Job Summary
DBS Bank Limited is seeking a skilled Senior Java Developer to join our Consumer Banking Group Technology team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying complex enterprise applications using Springboot and Java.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable and resilient microservice applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Contribute to the technical design, particularly in domain-driven microservice design.
- Collaborate closely with other internal technical teams/business users in investigating, testing, and deployments.
- Ensure all production changes are made in accordance with life-cycle methodology and risk guidelines.
- Application Support, Deployment of Release, patches & fixes on Platform.
Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Min 3+ years of hands-on experience in product/application Software development.
- Excellent in Springboot microservices, Spring (spring security, spring integration, spring batch, spring data, spring cloud, spring boot), Libraries and Frameworks.
- Working experience with REST API.
- Experience with database (MariaDB, mysql, oracle etc).
- Knowledge and experience of private (Openshift and/or PCF (Vmware Tanzu) and/or public cloud architecture and systems.
- Good understanding of agile methodologies and experience of working in agile teams.
- Good understanding of MQ, Kafka, multi-thread is an advantage.
- Experience in CI/CD (Git, Jenkin, SonarQube, NexusIQ), DevOps & Test automation.
- Strong ability to take ownership of issues and drives resolution across teams.
- Quick learner, self-starter, detailed and thorough.
