SBM ASIA SERVICES PTE LTD is seeking a highly skilled Marine Superintendent Engineer to join our team. As a Marine Superintendent Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the engineering and field engineering aspects of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engineering / Field Engineering:
    • Conduct PFD, P&ID, HAZOP/SIL reviews, specifications, datasheets, MTO, line list, and package engineering.
    • Perform calculations for dynamic cargo offloading, surge analysis, systems flow balancing, and heat transfer.
    • Coordinate and review 3D modeling, including mechanical handling studies.
  • Tanker / FPSO Survey:
    • Coordinate activities and ensure timely completion.
    • Prepare and review as-built documentations, survey reports, presentations, and conversion/upgrades proposals.
  • Construction / Completion / Pre-Commissioning:
    • Prepare method statements, activity sequencing, and field activities coordination.
    • Plan, report, and follow up on progress and manpower.
    • Interface with shipyards, clients, contractors, commissioning teams, and offshore operators.
    • Coordinate between engineering, construction/completion, and commissioning teams.
  • Project Management:
    • Develop subcontracting specifications for general and specific scopes of work.
    • Manage subcontractors and deliverables.
    • Communicate with clients and stakeholders.
  • Vessel & Mooring Scope of Work:
    • Review and comment on engineering design to optimize constructability.
    • Oversee construction and completion activities.
    • Sequence, prepare, and define priorities.
    • Follow up on daily field activities, shipyard manpower, and schedules.
    • Coordinate with commissioning teams.
  • Specific / Key Activities:
    • Execute dry dock integration of mooring structures and equipment.
    • Integrate riser tie-in spools from the vessel side shell to the topsides.
    • Coordinate SIT for mooring tensioning systems and riser/umbilical pulling systems.
    • Prepare FPSO for sail-away.
