This is a unique opportunity to join Caterpillar as a Marine Superintendent, where you will play a critical role in supporting our global marine operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and improve the overall performance of Caterpillar marine products, reducing warranty costs and service-related expenses worldwide.
  • Identify problems, investigate causes, and establish priorities for resolution, collaborating with dealers and technical staff to gather necessary information.
  • Develop and implement corrective actions, including product improvements and service enhancements, to address production and field requirements.
  • Support the New Product Introduction team by providing input on serviceability, reliability, and durability goals.
  • Provide technical product support to dealers, subsidiary service groups, marketing units, and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct dealer and customer visits to provide technical assistance and follow up on urgent field problems.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong technical background and several years of field service experience, preferably with Caterpillar.
  • Excellent mechanical and electrical aptitude, as well as product knowledge and good engineering background.
  • Effective communication skills, ability to organize work, and persuasiveness.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
