Job Description:

As a Finance Director, you will play a pivotal role in the financial strategy and operations of our organization.

  • Provide formal supervision to employees and track their training and development. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching, oversee recruiting and hiring new staff members.
  • Coordinate daily team activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, cross-train staff, set deadlines, and mentor as needed.
  • Plan and execute budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning processes, and management reporting.
  • Review input from staff and business partners to assist with the strategic planning process.
  • Work with management to establish departmental priorities and meet deadlines. Develop financial policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the preparation of reporting results and collaborate with the Operations team to support initiatives within the business.
  • Execute capital projects under company guidelines.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-12 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
  • Ability to lead sensitive, complicated, and difficult conversations, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.
  • Leadership skills to set, manage, and achieve targets impacting multiple departments' results within a function.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Expert organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset.
  • Sophisticated math skills for calculating complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
