As a dedicated and passionate Residential Coach, you will play a pivotal role in helping residents attain their personal goals and live meaningful lives.
- Enabling Resident Development
- Maintain household chores, including meal preparation
- Manage time within the residence and prepare for work assignments
- Live harmoniously with others, sharing common spaces, meals, and responsibilities while considering one another's needs
- Ensuring Safety and Security
- Guarantee the safety and security of residents at all times
- Respond promptly to emergencies as required
- Creating a Comfortable Environment
- Collaborate with residents to develop house rules
- Ensure residents are accountable for their household duties
- Provide opportunities for social interactions and community engagement
- Maintaining Comfort and Safety
- Upkeep common areas if residents require assistance with household chores
- Assist and coordinate repairs as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum GCE 'O' level qualifications with 1 - 2 years of working experience
- Knowledge and understanding of autism and skills in housekeeping
- Excellent interpersonal and relational skills
- Passion to work with individuals on the autism spectrum
The incumbent is expected to work on a shift roster including weekends and public holidays, with a stayover at the residence for 3 days at a stretch. We offer an attractive shift pattern providing up to 8.5 consecutive days off every three weeks.
