Programme Director for Graduate Services

We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee the end-to-end operations of graduate programmes, spanning admissions through to graduation.
This is a pivotal leadership role where you will design solutions, guide your team, engage institutional stakeholders, and ensure compliance and governance are rigorously maintained.
You will embed best-in-class processes, champion proactive risk management, and drive continuous improvement to elevate the learner experience and align programme operations with the institution's academic goals.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership: Shape and implement operational strategies that align with the university's academic mission and long-term objectives.
- End-to-End Programme Operations: Manage the full lifecycle of graduate programmes — admissions, examinations, programme delivery, and graduation ceremonies — ensuring compliance with institutional policies, regulatory standards, and funding requirements.
- Operational Excellence: Define KPIs, streamline workflows, and establish best practices to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and learner satisfaction.
- Risk & Governance: Identify and mitigate operational and compliance risks; put in place governance frameworks, preventive controls, and contingency measures to safeguard institutional reputation.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with academic leads, programme directors, business development, graduate recruitment teams, and central university offices to achieve admissions and completion outcomes.
- A degree holder with at least 15 years' experience in programme operations, admissions, student services, or related fields, preferably in higher education.
- Experience managing the full student lifecycle; familiarity with registrar processes and educational funding schemes.
- Proven people management and stakeholder engagement skills.
