Chief Café Operations Manager

The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of café operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, customer service, hygiene, and team performance. Key responsibilities include managing day-to-day café operations to deliver smooth and efficient service.
Enforcing and maintaining rigorous standards for hygiene, safety, and service is paramount. This includes monitoring food and beverage quality, presentation, and consistency across the business.
Staff management is a critical component of this role. The ideal candidate will recruit, train, schedule, and lead front-of-house and back-of-house teams. Conducting staff evaluations and managing performance issues is essential to foster a positive team environment.
Providing exceptional customer service and responding to feedback or complaints professionally is vital. Maintaining a welcoming and friendly environment for guests is crucial in driving customer loyalty.
Effective inventory management, supplier relationships, and order procurement are key to success in this role. Controlling costs within budgeted parameters and monitoring sales and expenses to prepare regular performance reports is also essential.
Supporting marketing and promotional activities to drive traffic and increase revenue, as well as proposing and implementing new menu items or service improvements in collaboration with the kitchen team, are also key responsibilities.
Requirements include a minimum of 3–5 years' experience in F&B management or café operations. Proven leadership and team management skills are essential, along with strong understanding of budgeting, cost control, and sales analysis. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also required.
Desirable qualifications include a diploma or degree in hospitality, business, or F&B management, as well as experience in café, casual dining, or boutique F&B concepts. A barista or culinary background is advantageous.
