THOME OFFSHORE MANAGEMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Vessel Manager to join our team. As a Senior Vessel Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of our vessels, with a focus on safety, environmental protection, and property conservation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily vessel operations, including inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Conduct regular shipboard inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Manage commercial inspections, including those conducted by oil majors and CDI.
  • Develop and implement incident, accident, and crisis management plans, and lead investigations as necessary.
  • Coordinate with port and flag state authorities to ensure compliance with statutory audits, including ISM and ISPS.
  • Lead the HSSEQ team to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Manage stores supply and budget planning to optimize vessel performance.
  • Recruit and manage crew members to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce.
  • Oversee dry docking and repairs to ensure vessels are maintained in good condition.
Requirements:
  • Class 1 Certificate of Competency.
  • Class 2 Certificate of Competency and university qualification.
  • At least 8 months of experience as Chief Engineer or Master on a relevant type of ship.
  • Proven experience managing DSV, MPSV, or offshore construction vessels.
  • Advantageous to have experience as a Superintendent in a shore-based shipping company.
  • Candidates with technical competence and no shore experience will be considered.
  • Ability to converse in Mandarin to work with Chinese customers.
