About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to play a key role in driving the growth and success of our organization. As a Strategic Planning Lead, you will be responsible for monitoring key strategic critical metrics, developing strategic plans, and leading special cross-functional strategic projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and consolidate financial results, business commentaries, and materials for regular reporting to management committees.
  • Develop communication materials on business performance highlights for various purposes, such as company results announcements and staff events.
  • Work closely with divisions to provide business performance analysis and support the formulation of central initiatives.
  • Monitor the progress of key critical initiatives and provide regular updates to management committees.
  • Perform competitor analysis, industry benchmarking, and research to inform strategic decisions.
  • Stay ahead of key market trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Support the maintenance and enhancement of key management dashboards using Business Intelligence tools.
  • Collaborate with departments to ensure quality and timeliness of planning submissions.
Requirements
  • Graduate in Finance or Actuarial or related professional qualification.
  • Minimum 6 years of financial management/tactical planning experience with a proven track record.
  • Strong understanding of financial management, budget, and profitability management.
  • Experience in insurance business management, ideally in non-financial functions such as product development, operations, or distribution.
  • Able to work independently and in a team, with a proactive and excellence-driven approach.
  • Effective communication and influencing skills with individuals and teams at all levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools, such as Tableau, is critical.
