**Job Title:** IT Governance Project Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Governance Project Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership and technical skills, with experience in conducting assurance checks, guiding application teams, and developing protocols that align with government IT security policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance to application teams preparing for compliance verification and audits.
  • Conduct regular compliance checks to ensure adherence to policies, standards, and controls.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and protocols for compliance processes.
  • Lead onboarding efforts with application teams to meet scheduled milestones.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to identify improvements and resolve technical issues.
  • Build and maintain management dashboards using tools like Power BI.
  • Ensure the organization is prepared for audits, with documentation and controls meeting policy requirements.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT operations, support, governance, or compliance.
  • Exceptional communication skills to explain technical concepts across departments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address compliance and security challenges.
  • Familiarity with government IT security policies and audit processes.
  • Experience with data analysis tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Technical knowledge in relevant areas.
