Childcare Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Childcare Principal/Centre Leader to shape the educational experience of our young students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Pedagogy team to design, develop and implement high-quality early childhood curricula that cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Coach and support teachers to assess, document and evaluate children's learning and development, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Develop strategies to attract and retain students, maximising school capacity while maintaining a student-centric approach.
  • Ensure effective cost management across all aspects of school operations, balancing efficiency with quality.
  • Select, mentor and coach teachers to enhance their relationships with parents, colleagues and students, promoting a positive and inclusive school environment.
  • Maintain accurate student records and adhere to teacher-to-student ratios as required by regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure the school's physical condition and facilities provide a safe and conducive learning environment for students, supporting their overall well-being.
  • Foster positive communication with parents and the school community, promoting transparency and collaboration.
  • Organise events that promote cultural awareness, racial harmony and environmental sustainability, enriching the educational experience.
Requirements:
  • A recognised Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification, demonstrating expertise in the field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a pre-school setting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role, showcasing leadership skills and vision.
  • Exceptional leadership, management and interpersonal skills are essential, enabling effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary for successful relationship-building and stakeholder engagement.
