Our company is seeking a skilled and motivated telecommunications test engineer to contribute to the development of cutting-edge 5G technologies. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a focus on system integration testing, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of system components.

The role involves designing, developing, and executing system integration tests for 5G communication systems, ensuring performance and functionality of integrated components. The selected candidate will be responsible for creating detailed test cases and test plans, executing tests, and analyzing results to identify system issues or performance discrepancies.

To assess system performance, the telecommunications test engineer will utilize 5G wireless integrated testers, spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers, and other testing equipment. Clear and concise test reports will be written, documenting test procedures, findings, and recommendations for system improvement.

Collaboration with hardware, software, and development teams will be essential in resolving issues and ensuring successful integration of system components. A strong understanding of wireless communication standards, especially 3GPP, and knowledge of 5G technologies are required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute system integration tests for 5G communication systems, ensuring performance and functionality of integrated components.
  • Independently create detailed test cases and test plans, execute tests, and analyze results to identify system issues or performance discrepancies.
  • Utilize 5G wireless integrated testers, spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers, and other testing equipment to assess system performance.
  • Write clear and concise test reports, documenting test procedures, findings, and recommendations for system improvement.
  • Collaborate with hardware, software, and development teams to resolve issues and ensure successful integration of system components.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant industry experience in telecommunications testing, preferably in 5G communications.
  • Familiarity with wireless communication standards, especially 3GPP, and strong understanding of 5G technologies.
  • Proficient in using 5G wireless integrated testers, spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers, and other testing equipment.
  • In-depth knowledge of testing processes and methodologies, with ability to independently design, execute, and document tests.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with ability to present technical information clearly and effectively.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
  • Background in telecommunications network architecture and performance analysis.
  • Familiarity with test case management and bug tracking systems.

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field.
