The role of Senior Technician is a vital component in the smooth operation and maintenance of facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Hands-On Repairs: Perform general building repairs, including electrical, plumbing, and painting tasks. Read and interpret technical diagrams, such as electrical and plumbing drawings, and site plans.
- Daily Safety Checks: Conduct regular checks for potential safety hazards, including water ponding, and collaborate with security personnel to ensure site safety.
- Preventive and Ad-Hoc Maintenance: Assist in executing both scheduled and on-demand maintenance tasks to maintain optimal facility condition.
- Monitoring M&E Systems: Maintain accurate records of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) readings and monitor system performance.
- Supervision of Contractors: Assist in overseeing maintenance work conducted by external contractors, reporting any irregularities or concerns to the site manager.
- At least 1 year relevant working experience in building maintenance.
- Good knowledge of building, mechanical & electrical systems.
- Able to communicate and interact effectively with people and possess good team player skills.
- Minimum NITEC in Building Services / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
