Private Banking Assurance Specialist

This pivotal role conducts Private Banking product-focused testing to address Compliance risks, engaging with stakeholders globally.

Strong expertise in Private Banking and exceptional investigative skills are essential. The ideal candidate possesses a proven track record of high performance and timely delivery.

The focus is on critical skills such as business acumen, risk management, and interpersonal skills. Assessment will also cover job-specific technical competencies.

This specialist provides assurance over the effectiveness of Compliance Risk Management, validating controls and processes. Key accountabilities include developing and refreshing the Compliance Assurance Annual Plan and identifying potential risks.

Assessment will focus on complex analysis of data, problem-solving creatively, and communicating complex information effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refresh the Compliance Assurance Annual Plan.
  • Deliver risk-based assurance activity to validate control effectiveness.
  • Identify potential risks associated with non-compliance or control weaknesses.
  • Communicate Compliance Assurance reports and issues verbally and in writing.
  • Build effective relationships between Compliance Assurance and stakeholders.

Assistant Vice President Expectations:

  • Consult on complex issues and provide advice to People Leaders.
  • Identify ways to mitigate risk and develop new policies/procedures.
  • Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls.
  • Perform work closely related to other areas, understanding how they coordinate and contribute to objectives.
