The Private Banking Support (PBS) belongs to First Line of Defense (FLoD) and focuses on ex-ante (preventive) controls to increase effectiveness and ensure consistency in operational processes. In addition, the function is responsible for various topics from strategic transformation (“Change the Bank”) to daily office wide matters (“Run the Bank”), i.e. strategic project, communication, talent development, governance, strategy and office support.

In this role, you will be reporting to the Head of PBS and will focus primarily on quality assurance on Onboarding and Periodic Review and account related activities. Your main roles & responsibilities include:
**Main Roles & Responsibilities**

A) Quality assurance on Onboarding and Periodic Review
- Perform first level quality assurance and review for new client onboarding and periodic review matters (including account documentation)
- Coordination with Legal & Compliance, keeping abreast of legal and regulatory changes in prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing as it pertains to client on-boarding and documentations process and requirements.
- Reviewing updated CIP submission
- To work closely with the frontline ensuring seamless quality submissions for Account Opening and periodic review
- Support/oversee key projects related to client on-boarding, periodic review and CDD matters

B) Others
- Plan and provide training to Front Office as and when required. Working with Front Office to continuously improve on quality submissions of new accounts and periodic reviews
- Information dissemination and communication to Front Office with regards to regulatory and internal policy/procedure implementation and changes
- Liaise with auditors and other stakeholders for audit and assurance related matters, when required
- Support and guiding the Private Banking Front Office with aspects to client due diligence queries, client investment suitability and internal policies and procedures
- Participate and represent Private Banking Support and Front Office in projects and initiatives
- Cross train and coverage in Private Banking Support team on non-Account related activities where required
- Provides status reporting and escalations to Team Head and Head of Private Banking where required

**Role Requirement**
- A diploma/ degree holder with minimum 6 - 8 years of AML Compliance experience in a private banking environment
- Good understanding of the local regulatory framework relating to AML/CFT as well as FATCA regulations, CRS due diligence, name screening, AML transaction review etc.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Team player and able to work independently under tight deadline pressure
