Physiotherapy Assistant Role Overview

The Physiotherapy Assistant plays a vital role in delivering high-quality rehabilitation and therapeutic care to patients under the guidance of qualified physiotherapists.

  • Assist physiotherapists in implementing prescribed treatment plans, exercises, and therapies.
  • Prepare treatment areas, equipment, and materials for patient sessions.
  • Guide patients through supervised exercises and monitor progress.
  • Support manual therapy techniques as directed by the physiotherapist.
  • Record and maintain accurate patient treatment notes and progress reports.
  • Educate patients on exercise techniques, posture, and lifestyle adjustments.
  • Ensure the cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning of therapy equipment.
  • Provide administrative support such as scheduling, documentation, and patient follow-up.
Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent recognized qualification).
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Eligibility for registration with relevant healthcare authorities is preferred.
  • Clinical experience in musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary, or rehabilitation physiotherapy (if any).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
