Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced safety professional to join our team as a Safety Operations Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective SWPs and RAs to ensure the highest level of safety at Jurong Port.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of safety regulations, risk assessment, and SWP development. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with engineers and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new and review existing SWPs to ensure they meet safety standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers to improve SWPs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of RAs in identifying potential risks and implement improvements.
  • Communicate implemented RAs and SWPs to affected employees and monitor their adherence.

The Requirements:

  • Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering / Occupational Health and Safety, or related discipline.
  • Relevant professional safety certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with proactive approach to identifying and mitigating safety risks.
