Electrical Project Manager Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead our electrical projects from design coordination through to completion and handover.

  1. Lead and manage electrical projects, ensuring smooth execution with consultants, main contractors, sub-contractors, and government authorities.
  2. Review electrical drawings, specifications, and shop drawings to ensure compliance with design intent and local codes.
  3. Plan and manage project schedules, manpower allocation, procurement, and site activities.
  4. Monitor and control project costs to avoid overruns and ensure timely progress claims.
  5. Supervise site teams, including engineers and supervisors, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and work procedures.
  6. Conduct inspections, testing & commissioning of LV, ELV, and power distribution systems.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare project documentation, including method statements, risk assessments, progress reports, and handover documentation.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and manage deadlines under pressure.
  • Lead project teams and ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in electrical project management in Singapore's construction/M&E sector.
  • Strong technical knowledge in LV systems, switchboards, lighting, earthing, ELV, and fire alarm systems.
  • Familiarity with local codes and standards (SS, EMA, BCA, SCDF).
  • Proven ability to lead project teams and coordinate with stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Project, AutoCAD.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
