The role of Production Planner is crucial in maintaining efficient production scheduling and effective material planning within a high-paced manufacturing environment.
Job Responsibilities- Plan Material Requirements: Create accurate material requirement plans based on production schedules to maintain ideal inventory levels.
- Monitor & Adjust Schedules: Manage production timelines and revise plans as needed to support timely output.
- Coordinate Operations: Liaise with the Testing team and production departments to align workflows and ensure smooth execution.
- Utilize ERP Systems: Apply advanced ERP tools (e.g., SAP or Oracle) for inventory tracking, material forecasting, and optimizing production efficiency.
- Drive Process Improvement: Lead or contribute to initiatives focused on enhancing planning effectiveness and reducing lead times.
- Education: Diploma in Manufacturing, Production, or Electronics Engineering.
- Experience: At least 2 years of hands-on experience in production planning within the electronics manufacturing sector, preferably in a high-volume environment.
