Job Overview

A Construction Project Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the project manager and ensuring the seamless execution of construction projects.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills to facilitate smooth information flow between internal teams, purchasing departments, and suppliers.

  • Documentation Management: Submit and track shop drawings, material catalogs, progress claims, and other documentation to ensure timely approval and compliance with project requirements.
  • Sample Board Preparation: Prepare sample boards for approval as part of the project's material selection and design process.
  • Resource Coordination: Coordinate project resources and logistics according to project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • General Administration: Handle general administrative tasks, including document filing, stakeholder communication, and scheduling meetings.
  • Vendor Evaluation: Assist project managers in evaluating vendor quotations, ensuring cost-effective and timely procurement of materials and services.
  • Liaison Services: Serve as a key point of contact between internal colleagues and external vendors, ensuring that all project requirements are met.
  • Project Handover: Assist with preparing and submitting documentation required for successful project handover.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 Years of Related Work Experience
  • Diploma or Equivalent
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Good Understanding of Maintenance Procedures, Equipment, Tools, Regulations, and Safety Standards
  • Ability to Multitask with Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
  • Able to Work Independently and as Part of a Team with Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills
