APAC FinCrime Product Compliance and Strategic Risk Manager

This is a hands-on opportunity to drive product compliance in the APAC region.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement FinCrime monitoring tailored to Wise's products, customer segments, and market presence.
- Perform root cause analyses on risk and efficiency trends and recommend control or efficiency improvements.
- Support the team in performing quarterly entity FinCrime Risk Assessments.
- Identify areas where a control uplift is required and prioritize accordingly.
- Assess FinCrime activities at the Wise group level and identify impact on- or ensure appropriateness for the Wise APAC licenses.
- Ensure FinCrime issues are tracked and well-documented in Wise's GRC tool.
- Ensure issues are accurately prioritized, resolved efficiently, and followed up on until closure.
- Present monitoring outcomes and updates to relevant committees.
- Provide detailed updates on remediation programs or issue resolution statuses.
- Support regulatory inquiries on Wise's FinCrime framework.
- Explain the functionality of controls and the overall FinCrime framework in a manner that stands up to regulatory scrutiny.
