This is a Credit Portfolio role within the Specialised Product Department located in Asia Pacific. The role is required to support the growing business in the areas of credit and portfolio monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and handle all credit-related matters for a portfolio of accounts assigned, including annual reviews, other ad-hoc reviews, waiver/amendment requests, and ongoing portfolio monitoring.
  • Be fully conversant with the Bank's credit procedures to ensure obligor gradings are accurate and appropriate.
  • Undertake portfolio sensitivity analysis from time to time.
  • Distill complex issues, analyze cash flows and financial models, and translate to meaningful, in-depth credit analysis and recommendations.
  • Review loan documentation and terms sheets to ensure credit-approved terms are as per documented.
  • Interface with front office/marketing teams, credit department, and internal/external auditors.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in a finance-related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' credit risk experience with Structured Finance, Corporate Banking, or Credit Risk environment within a Bank or Financial Institution.
  • Strong understanding and ability to interpret financial statements and complex financing structures.
  • Good working knowledge of loan and security documentation.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and financial modeling.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with a strong ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time.
  • Team player and flexibility in work hours.
  • Self-motivated.
