About the role:

We are looking for a driven and creative communications professional to join us as Manager, Brand and Consumer Communications.

This is a high-visibility role responsible for shaping and executing consumer-facing brand narratives across a variety of traditional and emerging platforms.

This is a solo contributor role who has a sharp instinct for what engages audiences in today's fast-moving media environment and collaborates closely with stakeholders across creative, product, newsroom and marketing functions.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience in consumer communications, and excels in navigating complex collaboration with clarity, empathy and purpose.

The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening brand love, ensuring audience-centric messaging, and managing day-to-day execution across press, owned media, digital platforms, events, and other consumer touchpoints.

Responsibilities

Shape and execute consumer-facing narratives that align with SPH Media's brand strategy, ensuring consistency across all communication touchpoints including website, newsletters, social media, press releases, and events.

Manage and maintain a Brand and Communications calendar — identifying key moments, product launches, seasonal campaigns, and consumer engagement opportunities to build an integrated, timely communications rhythm.

Craft and produce consumer communications materials in collaboration with internal creative teams, ensuring messaging is audience-relevant and on-brand.

Participate in marketing campaign planning and lead the integration of PR and communications strategies within wider marketing efforts, acting as the key liaison across internal teams and external stakeholders.

Work closely with stakeholders across marketing, newsroom, product, and commercial teams to translate business objectives into effective consumer communication strategies.

Track and report communications performance using appropriate metrics and tools to continuously refine approach and content effectiveness.
