Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you must have at least 5 years of experience in quality assurance and testing various applications for production. You should have worked in high-performance Agile software engineering teams that used practices like Kanban/Scrum/Lean/XP, TDD, BDD, CI/CD, etc. You should also have experience driving QA principles and practices in Agile teams, creating and managing automated functional tests, performing manual and automated tests, and writing, executing, and validating tests across the test spectrum.
- Mandatory Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in quality assurance and testing various applications for production
- Experience working in high-performance Agile software engineering teams
- Experience driving QA principles and practices in Agile teams
- Experience creating and managing automated functional tests
- Experience performing manual and automated tests
- Experience writing, executing, and validating tests across the test spectrum
- In-depth knowledge of fundamental code principles like OOP and POM
- Experience using clean code practices to write readable, maintainable code
- Experience using either Cypress or Playwright
Bonus Points:
Having experience with writing automated tests in a behaviour-driven manner, testing different applications, various techstacks, and industries will be considered a plus. Additionally, having experience in other areas of the SDLC, setting up DevOps and automation practices, and contributing to the company's growth and success will be highly valued.
