We are seeking a skilled Customer Service professional to join our team as a Loan and Savings Officer.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling member inquiries, and processing loan applications. They will also assist in the expansion and retention of our membership base.

In this role, you will work closely with members to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions. Your strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure will be essential in meeting the demands of this position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to members' requests in a timely and respectful manner via various channels
  • Evaluate members' credit worthiness and advise on loan eligibility
  • Process and approve loans, as well as process savings applications
  • Expand and retain membership base through effective communication and relationship-building
  • Participate in recruitment of new members and assist in the organisation of events
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will require:

  • A minimum Diploma from a recognised institution in a finance-related field
  • At least 3 years' experience in finance-related positions
  • Strong interpersonal and public speaking skills
