Job Title: Senior Chef Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Chef Specialist to join our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of all raw cooking materials and other required products, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and maintaining cleanliness and maintenance of work areas and equipment.

About the Role:
  • Prepare thorough mise-en-place as featured for the menu, working closely with the Chef to ensure high-quality dishes are prepared efficiently and effectively.
  • Assist the Chef in ordering, checking, and storing of delivered products/ingredients, ensuring accurate inventory management and minimizing waste.
  • Evaluate health and safety standards to ensure compliance, implementing procedures to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of work areas and equipment, adhering to high standards of hygiene and food safety.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a senior chef or equivalent role, with a strong track record of leadership and team management.
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a deep understanding of kitchen operations and food safety protocols.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent, with relevant certifications and training.
