Job Title: Caregiver Assistant

As a Caregiver Assistant, you will work closely with our team to provide exceptional care and support to our residents. This role is ideal for those who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and making a positive impact in the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide basic nursing care and treatment under supervision, ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of our residents.

  • Observe residents and report any abnormalities or concerns to the supervising nurse, promoting early intervention and prevention of potential issues.

  • Maintain a safe and clean environment by ensuring personal hygiene and grooming standards are met, promoting a positive and respectful atmosphere among residents and staff.

  • Accompany residents to appointments and recreational outings, enhancing their quality of life and fostering meaningful relationships within the community.

  • Conduct daily activities with residents, engaging them in stimulating experiences that promote cognitive function, social interaction, and overall well-being.

Requirements:

  • Minimum NITEC in Nursing or Community Care & Social Services, demonstrating a solid foundation in healthcare principles and practices.

  • At least 2 years of experience working in a Nursing Home or Hospital setting, showcasing a track record of providing excellent patient care and teamwork.

  • Ability to work effectively on 3 shifts per week, across 6 days, maintaining a flexible schedule and adapting to changing circumstances as needed.
