Project Manager - Ground Control Systems


Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced project manager to oversee the development and implementation of our unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) ground control systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of mission-critical systems used in UAV operations.

  • Manage virtualized environments, operating systems, and secure networking with a strong emphasis on automation and system resilience in real-time control environments.
  • Ensure seamless integration of all hardware and software components to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance infrastructure supporting UAV operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a System Administrator, with hands-on experience in installation, configuration and maintenance of:
  • VMware hypervisor
  • Microsoft OS', installation and maintenance of Microsoft core services (AD, DNS, GPO)
  • Linux systems
  • Networking (CCNA Level), installing and maintaining switches, deep understanding of L2 and L3 protocols
  • FortiGate Firewalls installation and maintenance, including security policies, VPNs, and advanced threat protection features
