Workforce Development Specialist

Reporting to the Assistant Director, you will develop and implement workforce development policies and strategies to help public agencies transform their workforce.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing policy papers and strategic frameworks for workforce development initiatives across the public service
  • Managing relationships with stakeholders to understand business needs and workforce challenges, developing targeted solutions and strategies
  • Supporting agencies in strategic workforce planning by identifying workforce needs, assessing operating landscapes, and translating into concrete implementation plans
  • Leading cross-agency workforce development projects and partnerships, coordinating with external stakeholders to deliver training programmes and career development initiatives

Competencies include working effectively with citizens and stakeholders, analytics, and clear thinking.
