Vice President, Securitization
Job Summary:As a Vice President of Securitization, you will be responsible for contributing to the development and execution of the department's credit strategy and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate credit applications with a focus on maintaining a healthy balance sheet and effective credit monitoring
- Perform detailed credit assessments, including review of projection models and risk analysis using multiple data sources
- Assist in the preparation and quality review of approval memos, including analysis of transaction background, structure, counterparty creditworthiness, and regulatory landscape
- Conduct regular reviews of borrower ratings to ensure accurate credit cost calculations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with regional teams and Tokyo HQ to enhance credit risk management practices
- Work closely with product and coverage teams across regions to understand their strategies and support pipeline transactions
- Act as a role model and ensure compliance with company policies and guidelines
- Support and guide team members on complex credit transactions
