About this role:

As a high-impact leader, you will oversee the engineering teams responsible for architecting and scaling backend systems that power global user growth.

This position will drive technical vision and execution for core growth platforms, including paid advertising tracking, affiliate programs, SEO/ASO tooling, content management systems, and other growth and marketing technology infrastructure.

This is an exciting opportunity to work cross-functionally with product, marketing, growth, and data teams to build intelligent, scalable, and data-driven systems that drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention.

  • Own and drive the backend architecture for all growth-related platforms, ensuring scalability, reliability, and flexibility.
  • Lead the engineering efforts on Paid Ads and Channel Tracking infrastructure (e.g., attribution, measurement, data pipelines).
  • Affiliate Program, Referral Program, and Partner Management Systems.
  • SEO/ASO tools and backend services to optimize organic growth.
  • Content management systems and tooling to support content-driven growth strategies.
  • Experimentation, A/B testing platforms, and personalization engines.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 10+ years of backend engineering experience, with at least 3+ years in an engineering leadership role in growth or marketing technology teams.
  • Proven experience leading backend engineering for growth systems such as paid marketing, referral programs, affiliate programs, SEO/ASO, or MarTech stacks.
  • Deep hands-on experience with microservices, distributed systems, data pipelines, and API development.
  • Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and modern backend architectures.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing ecosystems (CRM, ad tracking, attribution, affiliate management platforms).
  • Experience working closely with Growth, Marketing, and Data teams to enable data-driven growth strategies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
