Job Title: Senior Assembly Engineer

The position of Senior Assembly Engineer is responsible for leading high-performance team development and managing critical projects to ensure successful delivery within set targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mentor and develop the team to achieve high performance and continuous improvement in laser/fiber assembly processes.
  • Plan and manage projects to meet schedule and quality targets.
  • Oversee task planning, prioritize critical activities, and ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Implement engineering controls and training to achieve a zero-incident safety culture.
  • Own the product lifecycle, including RFQ management in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Operations.
  • Ensure timely closure of RFQs by tracking and reporting Turnaround Time (TAT).
  • Lead and ensure successful execution of FAT, FLP, and FAI to meet customer requirements.
  • Lead customer communications during escalations and provide progress updates to management.
  • Ensure operational readiness and successful handover of projects.
  • Collaborate with Design Engineering to develop manufacturable and high-quality product designs.
