The role of a Security Officer is to maintain a secure environment for all, ensuring the safety and security of guests and staff. Regular surveillance and patrols around hotel premises are crucial in safeguarding their well-being.
The Security Officer will be responsible for logging security incidents and accidents, providing assistance as needed, and conducting security investigations when necessary. Identifying and reporting unusual or suspicious occurrences to the Supervisor is also an essential part of this role.
Additionally, the Security Officer will perform access control duties at the Security Office and manage CCTV surveillance. They will also carry out additional tasks as requested by the Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular surveillance and patrols around hotel premises
- Log security incidents and accidents
- Provide assistance to guests and staff as needed
- Conduct security investigations when necessary
- Identify and report unusual or suspicious occurrences
- Perform access control duties at the Security Office
- Manage CCTV surveillance
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess certain skills and qualifications. These include being a team player who can also work independently, having basic computer literacy, holding a valid Security License, and being able to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
It is also essential that you are willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
