Job Title: MES Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled MES Operations Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing IT support and solutions to the manufacturing operations team in areas of manufacturing execution system (MES), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP-SAP), and machine interfaces.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT, with experience in troubleshooting Windows and Linux operating systems, as well as knowledge of SQL, C#, .Net Webservices, and/or Java EE. Experience with Oracle database is preferred.

The MES Operations Specialist will be responsible for managing manufacturing software systems, including MES shop-floor and automation interfaces, master databases maintenance, process modeling, and reporting functions.

They will also be the main liaison for manufacturing, gathering and collecting end-user requirements to ensure manufacturing application systems meet their needs.

In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring MES capabilities are up-to-date and benchmarked against industry standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field.
  • 3 years of working experience with manufacturing execution system (Camstar MES) in a 24 x 7 shopfloor/product assembly manufacturing environment.
  • IT knowledge and experience, especially in IT networking, infrastructure, database, EDI, programming.
  • Knowledge with troubleshooting Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Understanding of SQL, C#, .Net Webservices, and/or Java EE, IIS, and/or WebSphere.
  • Experience with Oracle database is preferred.
  • Knowledge in administration and development for business reports, e.g., Crystal report.
  • Experience and devise scope and requirement for internal IT audit.
  • Willing and able to provide on-call support when necessary.
