**Roles and Responsibilities**:
**Software (Operations)**
- Lead and manage the Software Team (locally and overseas) to in performing the entire software development life cycle (develop software, infrastructure and architecture) that meets the needs of users
- Establish, implement and continuously review the mechanisms to monitor, manage and provide progress on all software development activities and team member’s performance
- Addressing the various needs, concerns, and expectations of stakeholder groups in planning and executing projects, meeting project requirements and creating project deliverables
- Balancing competing project constraints including but not limited to scope, quality, schedule, budget, resources, and risks in order to accommodate the needs of each user/customer
- Building a strong technical culture around our business systems that emphasizes technical excellence, rapid iteration, strong security, and frictionless user experiences
- Manages multiple projects and is accountable for the on-time and quality delivery of software development projects
- Build the process related to quality, data protection, and security standards; ensure the software development process follow operation standard as a foundation of robust product scalability
- Manage the collaboration with external consultants or vendors

**Business Support**
- Assist internal sales and technical experts to align solution design with customer’s business requirements
- Managing customer expectations. Build strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and requirement to be able to propose solutions.
- Provide relevant technology trend analysis to the Management for any innovation opportunities for growth and operation efficiency

**Training and Development**
- Training. Ensure work-related training is provided and coordinate with HR to assist in the development of training materials when it is required.
- Competency Management. Keep employees’ technical knowledge up to date and propose training plans for each team member. Ensure that all the issues are well-matched to the capability of the individuals within the team.
- Develop clear successors within the group. Coach and mentor team members to develop skills needed as part of business continuity.

**Information Security and Safety Management**
- Lead, promote, and ensure the team follows information security and safety management system and work procedures for corporate compliance.

Job Requirement
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or another relevant field of study
- At least 8 years of relevant working experience.
- Extensive experience in software design and development, working knowledge of various platforms and languages such as Java, DotNet and MSSQL
- Experience leading software projects and teams
- Strong technical and analytical skills, with expert knowledge of computer software languages, platforms, and current methodologies
- Strong budgeting, leadership, and managerial abilities, to lead and manage the stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for collaborating with various levels of management, determining software requirements, and delivering effective solutions
- Technology-focused, self-motivated, and proactive in problem-solving.
- Team player and can work with minimum supervision.
- Has high initiative to learn emerging technologies relating to software development and IT solutions.
