Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of developers, providing mentorship, guidance, and regular performance feedback.
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable web applications using React.js, ensuring high-quality user experiences.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to define project requirements and deliverables.
  • Oversee frontend architecture, code quality, and adherence to best practices.
  • Implement and optimize state management (Redux/Context API) in complex applications.
  • Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend systems.
  • Conduct code reviews, ensure unit testing, and enforce coding standards across the team.
  • Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and responsiveness.
  • Plan project timelines, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies and recommend adoption where beneficial.

Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of software development experience, including strong expertise in React.js.
  • Proven experience in team leadership or project management within software development projects.
  • Solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
  • Experience with Redux, Web Workers, and Progressive Web Apps (PWAs).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools.
  • Experience with TDD and testing frameworks such as Cypress, Selenium, or PACT.
  • Exposure to React Native or mobile development is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, communication skills, and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
