Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Journeyman Technician to join our team. As a Journeyman Technician, you will be responsible for supporting shipboard networks and ensuring the sustainment and modernization of various network systems.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to work in a fast-paced environment, coordinating with government and civilian management teams to achieve mission objectives.

  • Perform system installations, sustainment, and upgrades to maintain readiness of servers, networking devices, workstations, storage devices, and other peripheral equipment.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve issues, recommending permanent configuration changes to support MSC's mission.
  • Coordinate support with StratasCorp Technician Dispatcher team, shipboard crews, external contractors, and vendors as needed to troubleshoot intra-system issues and assist with system integration design development.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Current IAT II or higher security certification per DoD M.
  • 5+ years of progressive IT experience in an enterprise-scale environment with CANES SME-level knowledge.
  • Experience with ADNS, CENTRIXS, ISNS, SCI networks, Windows Server administration, and Cisco networking devices is preferred.
