Job Description

Fitch Ratings is seeking an Analyst or Senior Analyst to join its team in Singapore or Hong Kong. As a leading credit ratings agency, we provide credit analysis, ratings, research, and commentary to financial market participants.

Our team plays a critical role in global capital markets by providing supplementary credit analysis and ratings. With over 100 years of experience, we have created value for global markets through our rigorous analysis and deep expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate insurance market knowledge and apply Fitch's Rating Criteria
  • Support a portfolio of issuer ratings, including preparation of financial ratio analysis and rating committee packages
  • Publish quality rating reports on rated issuers and sector-specific research
  • Participate in meetings and discussions with senior management of rated issuers and present to investors, bankers, and the media
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years' credit analysis experience in the insurance sector (preferably) for Senior Analyst roles; less than 3 years for Analyst roles
  • Degree-level education in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
  • Basic knowledge of insurance accounting and financial statements interpretation
  • Strong writing skills in English and Chinese, and fluency in verbal communication
